Those who gained their certificate in Principles of Fundraising from Villanova University shared, “As a newly appointed Executive Director with limited direct experience in the field of Development, Villanova’s Principles of Fundraising course was a great introduction to all aspects of fundraising for a nonprofit organisation, providing me with the necessary tools and confidence to successfully plan and execute vital fundraising efforts.” Another added, “As a person transitioning into doing social impact work in the nonprofit sector, the Fundraising Principles Certificate allowed me to gain an understanding of the goings-on inside a nonprofit, with a deeper understanding around managing fundraising activities.”

Nonprofit Alliance Executive Director Dr Nicola Paugh stated, “the Nonprofit Alliance is dedicated to professionalizing the nonprofit workforce, a strategic objective in our desire to strengthen and unify Bermuda’s nonprofit sector. We are so pleased to see our nonprofit colleagues making the most of these important development opportunities. Their learnings will help to improve the organisations where they work, and in turn support more efficient and effective efforts to deliver on their missions. These opportunities were subsidized by 75% thanks to the generosity of our donors, ensuring that professional development is accessible to the nonprofit sector.”
